As CEO and Publisher of Urban Trendsetters News Magazine (the Ohio based monthly news magazine reporting on the positive aspects of the urban community) I am excited and looking forward to celebrating our 6th year in print this February 7,2009. I have had the pleasure of representing Urban Trendsetters at many venues, outlets and events all over this country. The Urban Trendsetters of Columbus family especially, has blessed me in so many aspects both professionally and personally. I am equally excited about the re-launch of our website www.urbantrendsetters.com January 2009 that we believe will propel us to the next level of national exposure.
To add to my resume’ I have recently been named the 2009 President of American Women in Radio & Television/Buckeye Chapter (Ohio). American Women in Radio and Television is the national non-profit organization that extends membership to qualified professionals in the electronic media and allied fields. Urban Trendsetters is also proud to announce our launch into the Dayton and Cincinnati markets. The Dayton launch has proven to be rewarding due to our new partnership with Dayton’s ION and Urban Network WRCX T.V. 40 (Channel 22 on Time Warner) www.wrcxtv40.com, where beginning January 2, 2009 I will be the new Marketing Director. In this role I will be developing marketing opportunities as well as discovering T.V. show ideas for the station. We will begin airing our television show UTS Live on WRCX in Spring 2009.
Because I believe in having several streams of income, in addition to my newsmagazine and other media endeavors, I am also a Lifestyle Consultant with Soul Purpose, A Lifestyle Company that specializes in health and wellness products for the mind, body, soul and spirit.
